Katie Allan Zobel and Kristin Leutz have been sharing the position of Director of Philanthropic Services as "Team K2" for seven years at the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts, a public charity that administers a charitable endowment consisting of approximately 528 separately identified funds ($110 million) serving the three counties bordering the Connecticut River in Western Massachusetts (Hampden, Hampshire, and Franklin Counties. Team K2 is responsible for asset development, gift planning, donor services, and marketing and communications, raising $7 million last year from local donors.

Katie and Kristin first worked together in Annual Giving at Amherst College on one of the most successful alumni funds in the nation. They bring over two decades of combined fundraising and organizational development experience to the Foundation. Katie and Kristin have worked for organizations such as WGBY, Amherst College, Smith College, and MassMutual Financial Group, as well as serving non-profits as independent consultants.

Katie has a bachelor of arts from Boston College and has been a noted speaker for CASE District I on annual giving. She is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Hampden County and PGGNE. Kristin has a bachelor of arts from Colgate University and a master of science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Springfield College where she focused her studies on work/life balance. She is a certified Kripalu yoga teacher.

Both Kristin and Katie are involved with local chapters of Women in Philanthropy and the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and volunteer for local charitable organizations such as the Women's Fund of Western Massachusetts, Amherst Education Foundation, and Fit Together.
