Membership Benefits

Membership in Women in Philanthropy is open to any woman in Western Massachusetts who is affiliated with a non-profit organization and whose responsibility includes generating resources. We also welcome women who are philanthropists themselves, have been affiliated with philanthropy in the past or who are exploring a career or role in philanthropy.

All WiP members enjoy discounts on monthly breakfast meetings ($15 cost for members, $25 for non-members) and on our bi-annual conference. Members can post job announcements in our email newsletter for $25 (also available to non-members for $50), be listed in and have access to our annual directory of members, and have the opportunity to serve on WiP's Board of Directors.

Best of all, as a WiP member, you'll be a recognized part of a vibrant community of fundraising professionals and have many opportunities to network with some of the most talented development professionals in New England.

2011-2012 Membership Categories

WiP’s membership season begins September 1, 2011 and runs through August 31, 2012. We are not able to pro-rate the membership fees for partial years so to get the best value, join early! Please note that we are no longer able to offer half-year memberships.

Season's Passholder -- $190

  • All 8 breakfast meetings prepaid
  • Transferable monthly meeting pass
  • Two free guest passes (a $50 value)
  • Job posting fee of $25 for your institution
  • Listing in and access to annual membership directory
  • Opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors
  • Discounted rate for WiP's A Taste of Philanthropy conference on March 13, 2012

Basic Membership -- $80

  • $15 fee for monthly breakfast meetings ($10 discount)
  • Job posting fee of $25 for your institution
  • Listing in and access to annual membership directory
  • Opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors
  • Discounted rate for WiP's A Taste of Philanthropy conference on March 13, 2012 

Organizational Membership -- $250 (If you choose this option, please print and completely fill out the organizational membership form and mail it with a check to Women in Philanthropy, P.O. Box 224, Northampton, MA 01061-0224.)

  • Basic memberships for five designated women from your institution
  • $15 fee per person for monthly breakfast meetings ($10 discount per person)
  • Transferable monthly meeting pass if any of the five designated members are unable to attend
  • Job posting fee of $25 for your institution
  • Listing in and access to annual membership directory
  • Opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors
  • Discounted rate for WiP's A Taste of Philanthropy conference on March 13, 2012

Student Membership -- $50
Student ID or other indication of enrollment presented at first event attended. 

  • $15 fee to attend monthly breakfast meetings ($10 discount)
  • Listing in and access to annual membership directory
  • Opportunity to serve on the Board
  • Discounted rate for WiP's A Taste of Philanthropy conference on March 13, 2012

NON-MEMBER FEES
