We are women who are, have been, or wish to be, affiliated with nonprofit organizations, whose primary responsibilities include generating resources. It is the mission of Women in Philanthropy to support the professional advancement of its members.
Our members represent a cross-section of the nonprofit community in western Massachusetts. We work for hospitals, grassroots organizations, private and public schools/colleges/universities, social service agencies, foundations, historical societies, art agencies, independent consultants, etc.
Women in Philanthropy of Western Massachusetts is an organization managed by a group of dedicated volunteers. Our volunteer Board of Directors is responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating the programs for the year, for recruiting new members, for keeping members and the public informed of upcoming events, and for ensuring that membership dues are used carefully and efficiently. Karen Blinderman, our part-time virtual assistance, helps us manage registrations for monthly breakfast meetings.
Breakfast meetings 2nd Tuesday of every month. Registration @ 8:00 A.M. Program @ 8:15 A.M.
